Wondering what branch of Possumato's you come from. Mine is from Southern Jersey
tracing roots back to Campobasso Italy
from a Dominic, Giuseppe and Donato. Looks like Donato part may have settled in Altoona Area since there is a chain we know from that area.

Dan,
Patrick from the Billings session here. I was the one with the zook. Enjoyed the session at Pugs and look forward to your return through Billings. Love the CD. Have you published any of your tunes? I would love to learn Charlotte's Waltz/Yana's Waltz.
Safe journey's

Hello Uncle Dan!
<br>
For some reason I was googling 'Possumato' online and your site came up. I saw what Bill Thomas had wrote. Ask my dad the story...if he remembers...about some man calling our house about a Dominic. It was when I was about 7 or 8. Anyway...Just saying hello. The history of the family interests me as well!

Hi Dan, beautiful site! I hope to come over from Walla Walla to see you and John..not sure of work yet. It would be great to get together again and catch up! I used to sing with John's band Gael Force in Anchorage...eons ago. I sure miss everyone, and Alaska. Sniff.... Cheers, hope to see you at least at Mikey's. Laura

Great show last night at Mikey's in Portland last night, guys! It was great to see you again and catch up. Jamie is a wonderful guitarist and vocalist...I do like his cheerful selections...lol. What a sweet guy, seems so easy to work with. The session at Mary's afterward was so much fun! Good turnout. Would love to have you over in Walla Walla on your next Northwest tour. Keep in touch! I'm sure we're related. My father, Nicola, was born in Gambatesa, Campobasso, Molise, 9 Nov 1891. His father was Dominic, who was born in 1854. Pop was almost 52, my mother 31 when I was born, product of two widowers in a second marriage.
I'm a retired high school administrator, also retired as LTC, Infantry from the USAR. My enlisted time as an E-5 was spent in Berlin, Germany with the 298th US Army Band. I met and married my wife Karin there in 1958, have three sons, Roberto (CAPT, USNR, LT, VA State Police, running the aviation section), Riccardo (Owns Intellishred Document Destruction LLC), Adrian (Global Director of Pharmeceutical Containers, Multisorb, Inc.).
I remember my dad visiting relatives in Altoona and would like hearing from you to fill in the gaps. Your info came to me from my daughter-in-law Leonora (Adrian's wife) and I'm looking forward to your response.
It's interesting to note your being a musician of Irish music. In my case, having taught Italian, I'm also fluent in German because of being in Berlin and marrying into the language. We wander off into unknown paths!
