Glenlara

Glenlara is Dan Possumato (button accordion, melodeon), Teresa Baker (keyboards, tin whistle), and Mick Mulcrone (flute, bouzouki, vocals).

Teresa Baker has been playing Irish traditional music on the tin whistle and piano for "many, many years." She will sing if provoked. She has performed at the Alaska Folk Festival, Portland's "Art in the Pearl" Kell's Irish Pub Festivals, and countless dances, weddings and parties. Teresa is currently recording with accordion great Paddy O'Brien.

Dan Possumato has been playing Irish music on the button accordion and melodeon in both the USA and Europe since the 1970's. He has performed at the New England Folk Festival, the North Texas Irish Festival, the Alaska Folk Festival, the Pittsburgh Irish Festival, Northwest Folklife, and many other concert venues. A few years ago he joined up with some Clare and Galway musicians and recorded a CD in Ireland entitled "Land of Sunshine," and his new CD "Pulling Out the Stops" is set for release early next year.

Mick Mulcrone sings and plays the wooden flute as well as the Greek bouzouki. He has performed in Alaska and throughout the Northwest. For several years he was a member of the Seattle-based Irish group, Clontarf. He lives for part of the year in the West of Ireland, where he regularly performs at sessions.
